This isn’t quite fashion but here goes… When I was new to second life my first business venture was a little flower store. I made some roses and vines and bouquets on my first land. I wanted to buy a skin and needed to find a way to pay for it! I also made a few skybox rooms with tiled art I made in a 3d landscape generator. It wasn’t a huge success though even today people occasionally ask about my roses.
I stopped making and selling flowers and skyboxes when I got addicted to clothes and skins.

Recently we lost a tenant who rented our other sim and not wanting it to stand idle and not being able to afford to let it stand idle, we decided to utilise it for something. We decided to make a bridal store and maybe some specialist stores for items that we didn’t have room for at Adam n eve. Part of the process was terraforming and after glancing around at what was available on sale, we didn’t find what we really wanted. So we started to make it ourselves. Artis Natur, our new tree store is the result. Everything on the sim is custom made and custom textured by us, including the terrain. We are still planning to add a bridal store and some other things but right now we opened a small tree store and are still working on terrain things like water to make it pretty, and that people can buy and share with us.

All the trees so far are 5 - 8 prims and all are scripted to touch to change 4 seasons, Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter. They come with a sculpted tree shadow and matching particles and sculpted tree litter. The trees all emit a leaf particle, even the snowy ones, the leaf litter emits butterflies in Spring and Summer and leaves for Autumn with a snowy splodge for Winter. For those who don’t like particles there is an off switch. We’ve also provided a copy option for those with large projects. That uneasy feeling, you know the one, the type of feeling you get when you have a vague inclination that you’ve forgotten an anniversary or to pick one of the kids up after school, pay your taxes, you know, something reasonably major……eventually I just pushed the feeling to the back of my mind and got buried in my work for the day.

Woke up with a start this morning, swearwords forming in my mind remembering that I’d forgotten to do my favourite wednesday thing.

Right then, here’s my thoughts…

I’m loving the starkness and juxtaposition of colour, the composition and the slightly odd camera angle combined with a witty, dry subtitle of “Am I Blue” by Tee*Squared.

Newcomer maerwyn has chivvied in with “None of the Above” and “Abbot’s Aerodrome” both of which show glamour and a bit of tongue-in-cheek humour, especially like the starlet esque plane one, reminds me of a Greta Garbo or Sophia Loren.

And to compound the difficulties cassbackward has once again made me laugh with “Egypt Nile Valley”

Now that doesn’t make it any easier…

O.k. I’m going to award WINNER status to maerwyn and “Abbot’s Aerodrome” this week.

I managed to get the last two boards from the first release of Persephone in store today! Boards 6 & 7 have 4 make up each. Board 6 is full of beautiful classics, board 7 has some fun Emo style make ups including misery and tears!

Board 6 is in the secret room until Monday at 9am for half price for group members only. That’s 600L$ a skin and 1500L$ for the brat pack of 4 make up.

Once again I’ve been neglecting my cobbling lately to focus on ultra low prim trees and Terrain RAW files, learning new skills, trying to shuffle 3 sims into any kind of order. So I decided last week to create some boots (my least favoured part of cobbling) in the midst of all the other chaos that I was persuing, and to be honest I really really like the look of these things… sleek slinky errr slippery, yumyum.

What can I say about Persephone that the pictures don’t say? I can say that she is stunningly beautiful, has make up to die for and a fabulous body that will make men drool, but you can see all that for yourself!
I wanted to make a sister skin to my favourite Pandora line, a skin that had all the things I loved, that was not only a commercial line but was a skin I wanted to wear every day myself. Persephone is that skin. I adore her on my shape.
