Commenting on Comments!
I am taking a moment to post some comments here that are not related to a new release, something I rarely do because there is something that needs to be said.
To be honest Damen and I very rarely have any negative customer service or comments. I like to think this is because we treat people as kindly and fairly as we’d hope to be treated ourselves and we produce good quality items. Yes there are always the odd one or two who try to push it or take advantage but on the whole people seem happy to shop at our store. Having said that, we recently had a rather spiteful comment on this blog. Since that comment went through there have been some other comments from the same person in a argumentative fashion that I have not allowed to reach the blog and I am going to explain why.
This site is a showcase for our work, not a showcase for your spite.
In second life there is a great deal of diversity and this is how it should be. If all that was on offer were 10L sweat shop produced items then the commercial industry would quickly die. There is room for all of us who create in second life and the diversity makes it more fun so there is no need for anyone to feel threatened by the things that I or anyone else makes. It is not just about new stores, the established stores are here too and we set the standards which the consumer has come to enjoy. We were all new stores once and if we are enjoying any sucess it is because we have worked exceptionally hard to achieve it. Diversity helps raise the standards of what is made by everyone on the grid and without that diversity and the more established stores it might just be a blingtard’s paradise with content that many people would enjoy less. So let’s stop knocking people and enjoy ALL of the wonderful things that the grid has to offer.
1. If you have a problem with an item you have purchased from me, please simply contact me and we will do our best to work it out.
2. If you don’t like my avatars face, send me an IM and come and have a chat, I won’t even charge you for the psychiatric counselling.
3. If you don’t like what we make, that’s fine, the world would be a dull place if we all liked the same things but it isn’t neccessary to be spiteful or try to imply that there is no level of skill or professionalism involved in making the items. I am not upset that you don’t like it, the people who do bother to try a demo and spend lindens on it are happy. The people we have worked on projects for, like helping to showcase the movies 300, Die Hard 4 and Transformers in second life are happy with the level of skill and professionalism in our work. That’s all we need to know. Thank you.

Hey Claudine, it was lovely to get your comment! I’m so pleased you are happy with your purchase. I’m going to be reducing all aphrodite and cleopatra to 100L this weekend and then permanatly deleting them. I will be making aphrodite 2 when the dust settles on the new shop!

I’d like to chime in and say I’ve been more than pleased with my experience of adam n eve.
The Venetia really is the most gorgeous gown in SL.
And now I think I have to pop over to look closely at the aphrodite and cleopatra skins.

When I started in SL I was blessed to meet a Lady at a sim that took me under her wing and helped me learn alot of things about SL, the one thing that always sticks in my mind about her though is that she had one obsession and that was her Aphrodite skin, to her it was the be all and end all of her look, and she had no hesitation in telling people of the fact that it was to her the most important thing in her inventory besides her shoes that had a built in ao lol …another girl I met shortly after that had an obsession too and that was with Adam n Eve hair in the colour that was so close to her RL colour that she had all your hair at that time in it and only wore that one colour (gasps at the thought) Both of those women and many more since I know have had wonderful things to say about your products and we all know I love Pandora 2 skin …the Gowns are wonderful and the hair and shoes and everything else you do , so keep it up and dont let anything stop you ….yes I praise you often but dont think you ever heard me share those two bits of info before , this was the perfect time me thinks

I have to say that I have been personally very impressed with both your kindness and professionalism, not only to me but to others. Those things speak louder than anything else I could say.

There’s something wrong with your face? o.O LOL
Don’t let the evil comments get you down, Sachi. You make wonderful items! My Pandora 2 skin is now my primary skin, and I didn’t think I’d ever change skins before. I get a lot of compliments on how I look and I tell people if they want to look as good as me, they need to go to your store. *giggles*

Well spoken Sachi!!
There is never any call for rudeness of that sort, and as someone has pointed out, there’s a huge difference between constructive criticism and just plain mean-spirited bashing.
Kudos to you for maintaining your professionalism in addressing it.

Your items might not always be my perfect cup of tea
Yet I always have admired you, and the designer that ye be
You handled nasty spiters in a lovely, neutral way
And reading this and those true words has surely made my day
^_^

Thank you all so much for your kind and supportive comments. I’m blown away by all the good, positive feelings on the posts here. It really puts into perspective for me how many nice folks there are in SL as opposed to the few mean spirited ones.

Here, here, Sachi.

Sachi kicks me in the forehead and then tells me to shut up if I complain about it
Really, Sachi you are a wonderful person & ya make yummy hand-drawn goodness…not many Second Life designers can claim that.
Also you really do have an ear if someone needs to talk. When I vent to you…you’re never judgmental, you generally care, and you never suggest that I seek professional help (which is a plus). Sachi for president!

Sachi, you have your own fans! Don’t be upset because of those nasty people. They just jealous you. “Once you are more famous, more nasty people will passing around you.” some of my best friend said. I Very understand your feeling as I am in the same situation you are in now. But well , I think that just keep on your work & don’t give up. I am totally argue your conversation “If you don’t like what we make, that’s fine, the world would be a dull place if we all liked the same things but it isn’t neccessary to be spiteful or try to imply that there is no level of skill or professionalism involved in making the items…” Your design is good & creative I can say. So just keep designing :DD Don’t let those Nasty people piss you off, they just have too much time & they can’t make things like you so they tell to write something to make you stop your business. I did have few talent designers friends step into these Nasty & Nonsense people traps. They are so upset & stop creating due to those attacks. Well, Let’s be strong & just treat their words as bird singing… We will always by your side! YOU HAVE YOUR OWN FANS!! just keep this conversation in your mind & you will feel more better
