Fed Up

Posted by sachi Vixen - August 24th, 2006

I am completely and utterly fed up. I feel like someone smacked me in the stomach on a day when it should be happy news.My son got his exam results today and he passed 5 GCSE’s, 3 of them with a B and I am very proud of him, so proud I had promised him £100 if he got good results. He has been ill the past year and lost a bit of time from school, I’m not going to go into details but it has been a hard year for him and to get 3 B and 2 C is a great achievement. He will be able to go to the college he wants to go to. We went to draw out some money, I ws giving £100 from money I have saved from what I made in SL. He was going to open his first bank account. But the ATM wouldn’t let me take out any money. It said I was over my limit but I knew I had money in the account. When I queried it witht he bank I discovered I’ve been robbed, I still had my card so I have been a victim of card cloning. Over £1000 has been stolen from my bank with withdrawals every day this week. Each time they checked the balance and then stole my money. I feel so violated, I am broke, and my son is disappointed. Yes I will get the money back but that isn’t the point. What makes it worse? This is the fourth time I have been the victim of bank account fraud this year. I’ve had my account since before my son was born and never had a [problem, this year, 4 times people have stolen from me, 3 times it was internet purchase theft using my details, this time it was cash, all my cash. My account is now forzen and I can’t get any money until I am issued with a new card, up to 5 days. Texture theft is horrible, but nothing compares to being temporarily penniless.
