It’s all new!

New, News, and stuff!

I’m often quite tardy for writing here and to be fair this blog is new and I have been very busy with the new sim. I will try to write a little more so that there is something to read here rather just pretty pictures and i will make an effort to post here more regularly and not use it as a stop gap for when the forum is acting up and not posting pictures! Almost sounds like i’m making
a new years resolution or I’m giving up something for lent.

We’ve been very busy setting up our new sim, yes SIM! I’m very excited as it’s been an ambition of mine for a long time to have my own sim and I’ve saved hard for it. Ever since the first Dickens had to close last Winter I’ve wanted to recreate the build. Though I can’t claim credit for much of the building as my partner Damen Gorilla did most of the building both in the main store and the bulk of Dickens and he’s only been building in SL a few weeks! He does have experience of 3d modelling but I think what he’s done on Genesis is an incredible achievement and i am so grateful to him for his help and support in setting up the sim. I did do a lot of the texturing around the sim, however, and made the fun interactive features like the potters wheel, edible candy and church organ (don’t forget to try them out if you visit!) witht he help of the amazing Craig Altman of Bits and Bobs who helped me bring all my ideas to life with some great animations. Thank you Craig!

The Harem pants are lots of fun I think I made them as an outfit for myself for the sim opening party and liked them so much I decided to retail them too. I’ve h

ad very positive responses about them so i will be making some more styles and colours. At the moment this first style comes in Purple, red and emerald. The outfit includes prim pants, jewellery and a coin dangle.
