Celebrity Trollop (that is just the best online name ever) gave me the idea to make my new hair a series of hair with jewelled clasps hodling all that flexi goodness in various styles so here are some I’ve released in the last couple of days. I’m enjoying thema nd looking forward to doing some more. I’m very grateful to the delightful Ginny Talamasca for giving me a suggestion that solved my remaining targa problems and lucky me, i made a new friend into the bargain!
The Gem hair is tintable like my first release Jewel but this is mostly worthwhile with the lighter colours red and blond.

Flexi hair is kinda fun so I suspect I am going to make a lot more of it. However I have a skin to get out that I’ve been totally side tracked from and I think it’s about time I grit my teeth and did the flexi dress soo maybe that is the next project.
In the meantime I released two flexi hair styles today, one for men and one for women. Kind of pleased with how they came out and I’m wearing Jewel so that’s a good sign as I am usually a big Elika or Trouble fan. I decided to make these hair tintable for several reasons, for one thing i think playing witht he colours can add to the fun and gives the hair a lot more variety and secondly with the other things I have to do I haven’t really had the time to devote to making the other hair colour targas so at the moment I only have the blond available. I also wanted to make soemthing else for the guys as they seemt o have missed out quite a lot in the flexi prim stampede so i made another hair on my male manniquin, warrior, I know several guys have asked and are interested in long hair. This is also tintable.

This is Damen’s wonderful palace but prim drift is spoiling his will to keep building.

i am quite enjoying making flexi silks in between the tedious chore of making up make up pics for skin box ads for my new skin range Sabrina Fair. i made a little prim hair for men today, it was nicer with the targa texture i was using but i had this white line on the edge of the prim and i couldn’t get rid of it, i tried all the tricks like contracting pixels but to no avail, the texture itself looks perfect but put it on a prim and the transparency is not as transparent as it should be. Others manage to do it, so there must be a way but i haven’t figured it out yet, which is a shame as my mens hair was real nice with a tga texture specially the bangs at the front which really lost out when i decided it just wasn’t good enough as is to use.
i made some more flexi prim silks today and i enjoyed them, i know silks aren’t everyones bacon but it isn’t just Goreans who wear them and i do well with silks. They are pretty, flirty, sexy and they are just loving the new flexi prims in simple, subtle ways. They are a good way to learn too and flexi prims ar not as easy as some of the wonderful designers out there make them look. Wrestling with a couple of live eels that don’t want to stick to each other about sums it up.

i have to confess i was a little afraid of flexi prims. i went to the preview grid just once and made what can only be described as a tentacle monster. ‘How ever am i going to get the slippery suckers to hold together? Do i have to wrestle them?’ i thought to myself as i walked amidst a sea of flailing prims. It’s alive i tell you!
Then the wonderful Damen Gorilla pointed out today as we examined a rather limp and floppy erectile together, ‘turn it upside down, it’s the gravity.’ Since that hadn’t occured to me until that point i am eternally grateful for his suggested quick fix to my dilemma. So we won’t be having the Adam n Eve Octopus dress after all.

i made my first flexi prim garment and decided to give it away, well for 1L. It’s on the upper floor of the store where the silks are.
These are fun to dance in, as i found out today with a few 1L customers when we had an impromptu belly dance session in the silks section, until Damen accidentally deleted part of the store floor from another area of the sim and my customers fell through it.
To round off my fun flexi prim day i actually made some silks to sell too having found my groove, in gold, pink and blue. They come with two skirts, bling jewel and no bling and i called them frosting because they have a touch of metallic sheen to them.

In other news i started an update group today. i’ve shied away from this in the past as it always seemed a bit pointless but i read about some changes coming to groups and i think having an update group will be much more viable when they come into force. For instance i’ll be able to send those in the group a picture of a new product or a note with pics on as soon as it comes out. i really don’t believe in elitism and i am not comfortable with excluding people so i’ve made the group free for anyone to join. Adam n Eve sachi Vixen update group is not a very original name but it works for me unless i can think of something with more class like ‘the tentacle dress fan club.’
