Flexi prims arrive!

Posted by sachi Vixen - May 25th, 2006

i have to confess i was a little afraid of flexi prims. i went to the preview grid just once and made what can only be described as a tentacle monster. ‘How ever am i going to get the slippery suckers to hold together? Do i have to wrestle them?’ i thought to myself as i walked amidst a sea of flailing prims. It’s alive i tell you!

Then the wonderful Damen Gorilla pointed out today as we examined a rather limp and floppy erectile together, ‘turn it upside down, it’s the gravity.’ Since that hadn’t occured to me until that point i am eternally grateful for his suggested quick fix to my dilemma. So we won’t be having the Adam n Eve Octopus dress after all.

i made my first flexi prim garment and decided to give it away, well for 1L. It’s on the upper floor of the store where the silks are.

These are fun to dance in, as i found out today with a few 1L customers when we had an impromptu belly dance session in the silks section, until Damen accidentally deleted part of the store floor from another area of the sim and my customers fell through it.

To round off my fun flexi prim day i actually made some silks to sell too having found my groove, in gold, pink and blue. They come with two skirts, bling jewel and no bling and i called them frosting because they have a touch of metallic sheen to them.

In other news i started an update group today. i’ve shied away from this in the past as it always seemed a bit pointless but i read about some changes coming to groups and i think having an update group will be much more viable when they come into force. For instance i’ll be able to send those in the group a picture of a new product or a note with pics on as soon as it comes out. i really don’t believe in elitism and i am not comfortable with excluding people so i’ve made the group free for anyone to join. Adam n Eve sachi Vixen update group is not a very original name but it works for me unless i can think of something with more class like ‘the tentacle dress fan club.’
